Sales & Services Tax Implementation

Only the prices of all products sold as part of our F&B will be charged a 6% Service Tax. This includes in-house dining, takeaways, concession food items, and combos sold at our cafes, concessions counters, and online.

Prices will be rounded to the nearest 10 cent. (e.g. RM 9.53 becomes RM9.50 / RM9.57 becomes RM9.60)
The 6% Service Tax does not apply to movie tickets.

The 6% Service Tax only applies to F&B products and items sold at our F&B outlets.

Yes, all the special features available as part of the GSC-Hong Leong Bank Credit Card are still applicable after the implementation of SST.

This includes:

• 30% off on any popcorn buckets, snacks and drinks when you purchase via GSC online / mobile app
• 10% off on any popcorn buckets, snacks and drinks at GSC counters

However, as F&B is subjected to SST, the 6% Service Tax will be applied to all items sold at our F&B outlets.

All supplies of food & beverage (and/or) full payment that has been received prior to 1 September 2018 will be not be charged the 6% Service Tax.

Any provision of F&B and payments made after 1 September 2018 will be charged the 6% Service Tax.
