Freedom

Based on a true story of a prison break that occurred in Tamil Nadu in the 1990s. The film portrays the plight of Sri Lankan refugees falsely imprisoned in Vellore Fort in 1991, accused of an assassination. Despite their innocence, many remained incarcerated until 43 of them escaped in 1995. The film depicts Sasikumar's character fighting to escape the system that branded him a criminal.
