Synopsis

Irene is living her life in Rome when her mother asks  her to return for a few days to Rimini, the city where  she was born and from which she had escaped, to  take care of her older autistic brother, Omar. Once  they are together again, Irene discovers that Omar  has very clear plans for his future. He has no  intention of living with her once their parents are  gone, and he is determined to do whatever it takes  to achieve his dreams. He wants to get married, he  wants to have three children because three is the  perfect number, and he wants to become a famous  rap singer. But before any of this can happen, Omar  must first learn to become independent. Together,  Irene and Omar embark on a tender and moving  intensive course in becoming an “adult.” In their  family home, filled with memories, they face fears  and hopes together and discover that, sometimes,  growing up takes two.
