Synopsis
Laura, a Spanish woman living in Buenos Aires, returns with her two children to her small hometown outside Madrid to attend her sister’s wedding. The atmosphere is joyful and full of old friends, including Paco, a longtime family friend and former love.
However, during the festivities, Laura’s teenage daughter suddenly disappears, prompting a shocking ransom demand. What begins as a happy family reunion quickly devolves into a tense mystery that exposes deep-seated secrets, hidden tensions, and old grievances within the community and the family. As suspicion grows and loyalties are tested, the film unfolds as much about relationships and human nature as it is about the disappearance itself.
