Circusboy (Zirkuskind)

Santino is a circus child who travels across Germany with his family and animals in a caravan. For him, home is not a place but the close-knit circus community around him, especially his great-grandfather Ehe, one of Germany’s last great circus directors. Through stories of the past and life on the road, the film portrays the traditions, challenges and strong sense of belonging among Germany’s last travelling families.
